Dear Judy,
What a delightful read! I especially enjoyed "Maybe You CAN Take
the City Out of the Girl." I could relate to it personally, remembering
when I became a widow and had to learn what a ratchet wrench
looked like so I could change the oil in my lawnmower.
I'm looking forward to trying the recipes, especially Death By
Chocolate Cookies for my grandsons.
And, oh how I hope A.L. Gernard pursues Joe Lunack's letter so we
all find out what, exactly, was sent to the Smithsonian!
One day soon I intend to drive the two miles or so to my local beach
so I can dip one wee corner of my copy of Groundwaters into the
Atlantic Ocean. Then you can truly say Groundwaters has made it
across the country.
