Biography:
A.L. Gernard is a Fern Ridge resident and retired house painter who has been writing
fiction for over 30 years for his own enjoyment and edification. Unpublished, he has a
footlocker full of works to offer and is, at present, “shopping around” for an ethical, full-service
literary agent to represent his works. His latest novel, Rising Down, is a 238,000 word two-
book saga depicting organized crime... as seen through the eyes of its victims. (Spring 2005)
