Lynda Hain
Biography:
I was born in Ohio and lived “out in the country” for the first 15 years of my life. I’ve preferred
rural life ever since, although I have had some remarkable urban experiences in the interim.
Earl and I married at 20 and began a vagabond adventure that enabled us to live in many
different places, until settling in Oregon 27 years later in 1983. I have taught drawing at the
college level, worked for the U.S. Army in Germany, painted commissioned works, raised
rabbits commercially, been Mom to three grown children and Gram to eight grandchildren, and
owned an art gallery. I am a volunteer mediator in Small Claims Court and write a
Womenspace column in the
Tri-County News. Life is never dull and I have never been bored.
