Biography:
I moved to Oregon in December of 2003, discovering that it was “hardly evering,” snowing and
stopping travel in town. I read the newspaper fairly thoroughly and find many town names that
have been copied from other states and countries. They don’t always have the added “OR” by
the story source, so I initially attribute them to some distant place. I takes awhile to get used to
this, discovering that Lebanon, for instance, is nearby, not halfway around the world. (Spring
