Biography:
Josh Salmon was homeschooled through the 8th grade and is currently a Junior at North
Bend High School. He has enjoyed drawing since he was a little boy and recently began to
explore watercolor and acrylic painting along with color pencils and charcoal. Hi favorite
subject matters include monsters, misproportioned features of the human face, portraits and
mainly bizarre creatures from the depths of his unique mind. Josh has won several awards for
his art through the county fair, regional student art contests and juried exhibits in the bay
area. He has designed many t-shirts for his church youth group, local bands and a fundraiser
for a local non-profit agency. His dreams for the future include working in the great outdoors,
possibly with the state park system. On his off time, he will continue with his art in hopes of
making a living from it some day. (Winter 2007)
