Why advertise in Groundwaters?
Groundwaters is a grassroots community-oriented literary quarterly which primarily serves
western Lane County. It features writers and artists of any age and is currently distributed free
of charge in locations including Veneta, Elmira, Noti, Alvadore, Mapleton, Crow, Lorane,
Eugene and Cottage Grove. Mailed subscriptions go all over the United States and beyond.
Over 700 copies are being printed and distributed each quarter and the numbers are growing.
Groundwaters focuses on history, profiles of local businesses and residents, community
information, poetry, short stories and essays, book reviews, recipes and reflections. It is
kid-friendly, with a positive outlook. Groundwaters is popular with a relatively large audience
and is passed on through family and friends to others far away.
Groundwaters magazine has grown through the support of reader's donations and volunteer
subscriptions. The magazine is published with all-volunteer unpaid labor by our staff of six.
Now, businesses may partner with us through advertising, helping us to keep Groundwaters
freely and regularly available to the public.
Groundwaters reaches local customers and two or more people read each copy. This
publication found a niche without having ads included within its pages. The demand for it is
growing and our intent is to be able to continue free distribution at sites throughout the region.
We see the financial support of organizations and businesses through advertising helping to
sustain and grow Groundwaters as well as providing advertisers with additional exposure in
the region. We invite you to consider placing an ad in our publication.

Advertising must be prepaid. Deadlines are flexible. New issues appear in January, April, July
and October. Please plan ahead for the season.
