| Life is a quest for understanding and acceptance for who we are not what others want us to be. At times the burden of being ourselves without giving up on who we truly are is a battle of epic proportion. As the easy road would be to give in and be what others say we should be, thus walking through an existence of non-being with no self-thought or self-worth. I believe that the battle to stay true to our self, while hard and exhausting, is worth the fight to be our self, not a shell walking through life as a non-being. The pleasure of seeing our true self in the mirror makes the battle well-fought and Won! |
