A mouse is a mouse
until there are two,
then they become mice.
It’s two mice for you.
A moose is a moose
even if there are two.
It may not seem right,
but, what can you do?
If mouse(s) can be mice,
It’s really not fair,
that moose(s) can’t be meese
with their own moosey flair.
Of course, there’s the goose
to make things worse.
Two or more come out geese;
so let’s stop and rehearse.
Two mouse(s) are mice;
Two goose(s) are geese;
but the moose is a moose
and they cannot be meese!
