The Dream that every child,
The poorest of them all,
Will have a full stomach, a home and love.
What they lack is Man's pitfall.
Dr. King had the Dream
That his four little children one day
Would live on this earth in equality –
That is what he had to say.
Now he is dead – not forgotten,
And the only way he could truly be gone,
Is if we on Earth have forgotten
What he and others dream of the dawn.
For in the morning of tomorrow,
Or a hundred years from now,
The Dream could come true –
If only Mankind would allow.
